Dear Dr. Tate,
Just wondered if have had time
to read my previous email.
Take Care,

Dear Dr. Tate,
I must start by telling you
what I'm sure you've heard
thousands of times - but the
truth is always worth repeating
- you are the best presenter
that I have been exposed to. And
that is no small feat - I have
been a follower of the likes of
Dr. Sousa for a long time and
embrace his theories in my
educational practices. But you
have "IT"! That special
ingredient that can't be easily
explained but is quite apparent.
Thank you for sharing yourself
at the Omaha Public School
Conference. You have a fan for
life!
The reason that your workshop
is so significant to me right
now is the fact that I belong to
an Educational Council made up
of educators from the Chicago
area. We are planning to open up
a Charter School in the fall in
Joliet, Illinois and "Learning
Styles and Brain Research" is a
cornerstone component. I
couldn't believe that you
affirmed every point I have been
writing about over the past
year. Your 20 strategies will be
at the heart of our "think
outside of the box" proposal. I
was in email contact with Dr.
Sousa, I wanted him to train the
Charter School teachers - but he
responded he is no longer
available and referred me to
someone else - I now know there
was a reason I didn't follow-up
- our paths were about to cross
and I didn't even know it at the
time!
I would like to know if you
are interested in any aspect of
this great endeavor - as a
trainer of teachers - as a
consultant - as an advisor - as
a speaker at the Board
Presentation? I know you have an
incredibly busy schedule - but I
know the collaboration of your
Brain Compatible Classroom and
our Charter School is a winner
for those students who need it
most!
In case you were wondering -
I am educator from the Chicago
Area - transplanted as an
Administrator here in Omaha a
year ago - hoping to go back to
the Chicago Area to run this
"cutting edge" Charter School.
Thanking you for what you
have already shared. Hope to
hear from you soon!
Sincerely,
Donna Stevens
